Unfortunately, we missed this one when it was in theaters last fall. Clint Eastwood, the director, hits another homerun with Changeling, which stars Angelina Jolie as a single mother in 1920s Los Angeles. Her young boy goes missing, and a very corrupt police department hampers her efforts at finding him (to say the least). This is a high quality, mysterious and emotional film. We both were captivated by it, even though we watched it at the end of a long day and we were both tired. It was better than Oscar nominee The Reader, in our opinion.
